Edit Post
It’s been nearly a year since the last update, so maybe it’s
time to officially close the door on the Strangeness of Brendan McCarthy. I
think websites have a certain lifespan and the Strangeness has run longer than
most. But priorities change, life’s road get bumpy and changes in directions
you never expected, so time and enthusiasm to run a blog become hard things to
find. But the site will remain online as an archive.
With the site gone you can still get your fix of McCarthysim
in the upcoming ‘Best of Milligan and McCarthy’ from Dark Horse Comics, all of
Peter Milligan and Brendan McCarthy’s finest work retrofitted and expanded for
the 21st Century.

Very sad to see this come to an end, John. Looking on the bright side, you've done a great job keeping this running over the years. The Strangeness has been an amazing site featuring some truly astonishing work by Brendan, and I for one really appreciate all your efforts here. If the time ever comes to dust the place off and get things moving again, you know where I am.
Shame to see you go- A great informative website with some real nuggets of interesting info and great artwork of course! good luck with your future ventures and thanks.
I for one am gutted, this little oasis in a sea of mediocrity will no have it's pool replenished.
Thanks for all the effort over the years.
Salut.
This is great!
